TDS meter

The pictured device is a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) meter, used to measure the total amount of dissolved substances in water. Here's some helpful information:
• Function: It measures the electrical conductivity of water to estimate the concentration of dissolved solids in parts per million (ppm).
• Range and Accuracy: It typically measures from 0-9990 ppm with an accuracy of ±2%.
• Usage:
• Remove the cap and turn the meter on.
• Place the probe into the water, and wait for the reading to stabilize.
• The reading indicates the TDS level in ppm.
• TDS Levels:
• 0-50 ppm: Ideal for drinking.
• 50-150 ppm: Acceptable drinking water.
• 150-300 ppm: Hard water, safe but may cause scaling.
• 300-500 ppm: Not ideal for drinking.
• Above 500 ppm: Not safe for drinking, requires purification.
• Limitations: Does not measure pH levels.
• Maintenance: Clean the probe after use and replace the cap.
