            Pilla Vijaya kumaraswamy Reddy, kadiri Pilla Vijaya kumaraswamy Reddy, who writes under the pen names of Pilla Vijay and Pilla Kumaraswamy, was born on 8.7.1964(in school records as 5-2-1964) in  Saraswathipuram, Rajampeta Mandal of YSR Kadapa district. His parents are Pilla Ramalakshmi and Pilla Lakshmireddy. His mother died when he was ten years old. His father Pilla Lakshmireddy completed his studies in Telugu and retired as a Telugu scholar.
